I think you should not be afraid to do anything you feel comfortable doing. When I was a teenager we lived in the South Bronx which is an extremely tough place to grow up in New York City. I was into the punk & gothic scene. Some how i found the courage to dress the way I wanted to. It wasn't easy, people said stuff, but I didn't change.
